While systems like Blind Spot Monitoring have taken the place of Honda LaneWatch™, you’re still able to find this helpful technology on select Honda vehicles. When you take home models like the 2022 Honda HR-V and 2021 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell, you’ll have access to the Honda LaneWatch™ safety feature on Concord-area roads. This system feels like you have another set of eyes as it keeps tabs on the passenger side of your vehicle. Learn more about how Honda LaneWatch™ works, and have peace of mind on Bow drives.
As we mentioned, the Honda LaneWatch™ system functions similarly to the Blind Spot Monitoring feature during your Manchester commutes. With a camera that is located beneath the right passenger-side mirror, the hard-to-see areas on that side of your vehicle are displayed on the screen in the center of the cockpit. This means you can take on your drives around town with more confidence and greater visibility. While this doesn’t substitute your own eyes on the road, it’s an enhanced way to monitor your surroundings.
So, how does Honda LaneWatch™ work? It’s as simple as turning on your right turn signal. Once your signal is on, Honda LaneWatch™ activates and the video feed of your blind spot starts displaying on your center console. Use the screen to make sure the coast is clear when merging or making a turn on Tilton streets.
When you want to activate the system manually, push the button on the end of the turn signal post and push it again to turn Honda LaneWatch™ off.
To configure the Honda LaneWatch™ settings, simply follow these steps:
